Like others have said, there are a lot of broad “Sex At Dawn”-esque claims in this article. Evolutionary biologists are split on this issue, and most of them tend toward a model highly involving ‘sexual conflict’ i.e. that humans evolved to have all the conflict we experience in marriage.
