I think whether it’s ‘healthy’ or not depends a great deal on the relationship you have with your parents.

I have previously lived on my own, and my parents do treat me like a peer most of the time. I don’t feel that my development is retarded by living at home. If they treated me like a teenager, or I did not have prior experience living on my own, that would perhaps be a different story.
