Baird, you bet I would enjoy those books, seeing as I've already read one of them! Enlightenment Now blew my mind. Stephen Pinker is my favorite author. I haven't read Better Angels of Our Nature yet, always seems like there is something more pressing going on 😅 but my partner has read it and recommends it highly.

The other books I read that informed my views here were Rationality by Pinker, Factfulness by Rosling, and Think Again by Grant. (:

I know he gets pushback, but I steer clear of online debates like that one. I stick to reading books and data and trying to come to an unbiased conclusion (:
